ABOUT KATHRYN
Ever since she learned how to use her parents' old camcorder, Kathryn has had a camera in her hands. Raised with a love for nature and finding backyard wildlife to film, she graduated to human subjects for school projects and subsequent, more professional set ventures. Hailing from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, the cultural hub of the Amish, Kathryn has come to appreciate the beauty of minimalism, as well as an interest in culture of all sorts. She finds a particular satisfaction especially in capturing intense, emotional moments that build character and shape the viewer’s outlook of a story. As an up and coming filmmaker, she has worked on more than 15 short films in a variety of camera-related positions. Her constant goal is to provide high quality, efficient work while maintaining an approachable and honest nature.
